CMS is certified Class1,Div2 ATEX. and has extended temperature range -40°F to 158°F, Integrated fan system, high-end technology hardware is well protected in a rugged wall mounted enclosure (16*16*8.3 in) for maximum use of space and ease of installation. NEMA protection ratings are ensured through a secure locking system. Main CMS components are plate mounted for maximum protection during shipping.

Embedded Processing

Thanks to its powerful dual-core ARM processor, CMS is able to process up to 5 vibration indicators (RMS, Peak, CF, KU, Overall Velocity) per channel as well as 6 power in bands, up to 102.4 KHz (Fmax = 40 KHz) sampling frequency, lowpass/highpass/in band Filtering, FFT spectra and much more. Real time waveform per point can be streamed continuously to the Cortex Core (HMI) for more powerful analysis.

Triggers and Adaptive Algorithms

Trigger and operating condition checking tasks are very fast (milliseconds) allowing CMS to monitor accurately assets with short running cycles. Embedded adaptive algorithms makes CMS suitable to monitor even variable state and complex machinery and to respond in real time to changes during transient conditions. No event will be missed !
RMS threshold feature is used as trigger in sensorless cases or when process parameters are not available and can be automatically enabled in faulty sensor scenarios to track the operating state of the monitored machine ensuring continuous monitoring and maximum autonomy.

Onboard Decision

Onboard decision such as machine shut down on alarm crossing, sound or light warning on exception events can be taken in milliseconds based on the CMS embedded processing, adaptive trigger checking and locally stored alarms thresholds giving the CMS a maximum autonomy to take decision independently of the cortex core (HMI).

Onboard Storage

Vibration and operating conditions data are locally stored for weeks to prevent network failures using the system storage or usb external device. No data loss ! giving you the time to re-establish the communication.

Flexibility and modularity

Over 50 input/output modules to measure and interact with all parameters and relevant inputs (vibration, voltage, current, proximity probes, pressure and temperature) in various configurations. Standard version comes in 32 channels or 16 (easy upgradable), designed to monitor flawlessly up to 8 or 4 machines respectively thanks to multiple easy configurable triggers and real time adaptive processing. CMS can be customized so it can fit your needs in terms of channels count and sensors complexity.

Open Architecture

CMS is designed with an open architecture to fully interact with third party PLCs or sensors making its integration within a distributed control systems as smooth as possible.

The network architecture can be fully cabled, fully wireless or both combined providing flexible solution, ease of installation and smart distribution of CMS controllers within factory departments

Cellular network combined to secured VPN can be also used to access CMS controllers in some cases where the monitored machine is constantly moving such as boat gearboxes, …

Overall values per point as well as operating conditions data can be shared with third party hardware or/and software using Modbus, OPC and data socket protocols.

Custom 3D Rendering Included

Each unit is customized with a 3D rendering for the monitored machines.

The HMI can display the real time situation for each measurement point or machine as well as the operating conditions data (speed, current, trigger state,…)

Cortex Core dashboard has the ability to display in real time each point overall values as well as color coded per alarm status. Dashboard can be filtered by point status. Current values and last vibration trends can be accessible per point.

RealTime Analyzer Embedded in your Online System!

Cortex is not an ordinary online system with nice 3D graphic, Cortex Core can go further with an enhanced real time waveform streaming combined to powerful spectrum analysis tools to help you perform reliable faults diagnosis. Any measurement point can be streamed continuously from a target CMS system to the Cortex Core.

And thanks to advanced data reduction algorithms, the waveform streaming can be performed as smooth as possible even under poor network debit.
